SKINNY JEANS

The slim look of this jean will keep you looking adorable throughout the day, and make you stunning at night. You can throw on a pair to head to class with a pair of flats, tank and messenger bag.  Skinny jeans are also essential to wear out with some stiletto pumps and a glitzy top.To change up the look, go for different colors in red, teal, or black. Also, once the weather gets cooler, try a pair of fringy boots or suede knee high boots to keep warm.

BOYFRIEND JEANS

The cuffed, distressed look of these jeans is great for a weekend getaway or running errands. You can add in a crewneck T-shirt in heather grey or white, and pair it with a simple cardigan. The carefree look will keep you looking adorable yet preppy at the same time.

DARK JEANS

Dark rinse jeans are a must-have since the color effect will make your legs look thinner. How great is that? There are many different styles but the dark washes have a more sophisticated and dressier look. You may like to wear a lighter colored shirt on top opposed to black or navy. You may look disproportionate and blend together more than desired. However, most any top will look great with a pair of dark denim! Most likely, dark denim is a great piece to wear out at night to a club or party.

FADED JEANS

Depending on the occasion, lighter jeans may be more appropriate. In the summer, lighter washes and white may be worn more often with brighter, even neon, colors. Also, the particular look tends to be more casual than the darker denim. Wear a basic V-neck tee or white ruffle top for a classy, fresh look with a pair of cute sandals.

DESIGNER JEANS

The thought of shelling out $100+ for a pair of jeans may not seem ideal, but the purchase is well worth it. The material and fabric used in some designer jeans will last longer than most other brands. There are always sales at department stores, such as Neiman Marcus, where you can find items marked at 30-70 percent off the retail price. Keep in mind these trendy jeans will keep you looking fab-u-lous at school or out at night. Many more below

NASA is not only about space..

Scratch-resistant Lenses
So NASA is not only about space. Through their program they develop technology to solve problems in space that turns to actually benefit our lives here on earth. Since 1976, about 1,400 documented NASA inventions have benefited our industry, improved the quality of life. Here are some examples:Read more after the break...

Scratch-resistant Lenses
If you drop a pair of eyeglasses on the ground, the lenses probably won’t break. That’s because in 1972, the Food and Drug Administration began requiring manufacturers to use plastic rather than glass to make lenses. Plastics are cheaper to use, better at absorbing ultraviolet radiation, lighter and not prone to shattering. Nevertheless, they also had an Achilles heel. Uncoated plastics tend to scratch easily, and scuffed lenses could impair someone’s sight. A process NASA developed while refining helmet visors for astronauts led to scratch-resistant lenses for eyeglasses and sunglasses. Because of dirt and particles found in space environments, NASA needed a special coating to protect space equipment, particularly astronaut helmet visors. Recognizing an opportunity, the Foster-Grant sunglasses manufacturer licensed the NASA technology for its products. The special plastics coating made its sunglasses ten times more scratch-resistant than uncoated plastics.

Digital signal-processing techniques

hospital food service system
A hospital food service system employs a cook/chill concept for serving food. The system allows staff to prepare food well in advance, maintain heat, visual appeal and nutritional value while reducing operating costs.

Water purification technology
Water purification technology used on the Apollo spacecraft is now employed in several spinoff applications to kill bacteria, viruses and algae in community water supply systems and cooling towers. Filters mounted on faucets can reduce lead in water supplies.
